In a project four like-minded, like-hearted people come together, online, around a chosen scenario. Each scenario illuminates a different perspective and offers its own unique experience:
- Integrate your worldview, come closer to your natural self
- Voices in the city working together like bees in a hive
- Developing more love and peace in your life
- Manifesting a life, grounded in wholeness
- Your life’s, work seen from a collective perspective
- Recognising the soul in your life
- Sharing what it’s like to be young

A lifemaps project is about you and your reality. Your presence and dedication to yourself is what you bring with you. In a project the scenario, materials and programme create a setting in which you can connect to more of yourself and see the qualities and importance of your connections to others, your home ground and the world around you. You create your own map by yourself. In the group members listen to each other’s life story with attention and empathy, without judgement or discussion. This exchange creates trust, openness and receptivity for a rich, flowing and powerful conversation or brainstorm.
☼ Each of the table posters offers its own environment and process to work with. The landscape poster evokes feeling and opens up the inner world. Placing stickers is intuitive. On the life’s path poster you map your history, current situation and future. It becomes a roadmap for your life. With the compass poster the voices in the city collect input for a road map for the city. The blue planet poster shows nature – beautiful, diverse, vulnerable, powerful. It connects the small scale of personal life with the scale of the planet.
☼ Each lifemap package comes with a basic sticker set of key themes. The personal, community, business and city sticker sets are in yellow, the global sticker set is in blue. The other sticker and symbol sets provide extra layers for the overview on the poster. They add a value of their own.

The project starts with an online orientation. Each participant in the group receives a lifemap package at their own address. They fill in the poster on their own. Participants make a photo of their filled-in map and share it. The storytelling can take up one or more online meetings. A project often has two online gatherings for enquiry, discovery and meaning making. If desired, the group can stay together longer, to elaborate more or to observe over a period of time how their insight and intentions impact their reality. With the aim to learn from each other and encourage each other.

Expressing what’s in you on the map gives you a sense of intimacy and contentment. While you immerse yourself in the process, you’ll come closer to yourself. The filled-in map will show the full richness of your life: who you are, your relationships, work, places, plans and purpose – in context. Understanding what’ s behind it will bring clarity and inspiration. In the group you can be yourself. The storytelling makes it more easy to talk about yourself with others. You become more aware of the magic of deep listening. The whole experience and the outcomes reach further than people thought possible.

Bits of wisdom from many sources are part of the materials and scenarios in a lifemaps project. You don’t need to have prior knowledge. Purpose of a project is to raise awareness at an experiential level. This will manifest itself in various ways: as insight and concrete ideas, but also as experienced feelings or a realisation of not knowing. In a project a lot is touched inside that cannot be grasped immediately. So we will be sensitive to what goes on, for the individuals as well as the group.
