To be fully alive, what does that mean to you?
Fully alive, what I discovered
Aliveness is a state of being
Now and then, when I’m alone, at home or in nature, I feel fully alive, spontaneously. It’s an experience carried by all my senses, my whole body. For me, aliveness is a state of being.
Intentionally look for it
Sometimes, I intentionally look for it. I open my eyes, wait and relax, and open them again and again, .. Until I can see and sense the full reality. Until I feel fully present in the here and now.
In coherence
I feel at ease, totally myself and connected to everything. I experience the beauty of life and I feel part of the web of life. These moments are precious, when everything comes together, the inner and the outer world, aligned, in coherence.
Memorise and recreate
When you memorise those moments – like you would do with a realistic film with you in it – you can recreate them.
Brings you to life
What aspects of aliveness do you recognise in your life: feeling present, full of energy and zest, connected, fully invoved and engaged, on purpose, ..? That, which brings you to life, points to who you are and where you are, now.
